Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages
Support forecasting activities and conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance
Deliver financial insights to leadership that influence planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives
Lead annual budget & forecasting processes
Develop and maintain various financial forecast models to be used both in high level analysis as well as annual planning and budgeting
Support Board meeting and key management presentations
Complete ad hoc business analysis, as needed by the CEO
Act as a key liaison between finance, operations, sales, engineering, and shared services teams
Participate in ERP-related initiatives, process improvements, and system integrations
Provide ad hoc analysis to business unit leaders to support
Support month-end close activities as needed and prepare the monthly reporting package
Development and analysis of key ratios to support business metrics
Help manage out-sourced accounting function
Assist with internal and external audit requests, providing documentation and analysis
Contribute to both monthly and year-end close processes
Analyze standard costs, work-in-progress, raw materials, finished goods, and manufacturing variances
Partner with operations and supply chain to improve cost accuracy and drive margin improvement
Conduct detailed margin and variance analysis leveraging ERP data and Power BI dashboards
Support profitable decision-making through cross-functional review of cost drivers, trends, and performance insights
Partner closely with the entire Finance team to promote consistency and continuous improvement
Share best practices and support knowledge transfer across departments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a CPA, CMA, and/or MBA is a plus
4+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
Manufacturing industry experience with a strong foundation in cost accounting
Strong understanding of GAAP, standard cost concepts, and financial planning
Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred
Experience and demonstrated interest in implementing AI and automated workflows is a plus
