Responsibilities
Oversee all active production orders to ensure timely delivery, superior quality, and strict adherence to customer specifications
Supervise production processes to ensure high operational efficiency and continuous quality improvement across the board
Build and maintain strong relationships with international manufacturing partners, handling all aspects of order management, including sample approvals, costing, timelines, and packaging
Lead cost negotiations with factories to achieve optimal pricing, maintain competitive advantage, and ensure cost-effective production
Review and approve quality swatches, pre-production samples, and top-of-production (TOP) samples to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications
Compare costs and capabilities across multiple vendors, and make data-driven decisions on vendor allocation to optimize production outcomes
Generate detailed production reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and analyze data to identify trends and recommend continuous improvement actions
Organize and maintain a comprehensive archive of production samples for reference, quality control, and auditing purposes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Business, Home Product Development, Textile Design, or a related field
4+ years of experience in the home décor, furniture, textile, fashion, accessories, or apparel industry, with a focus on product development, sourcing, or production management
Familiarity with textile printing methods, embroidery techniques, and other fabric treatments
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and vendors
Preferred
Fluency in Mandarin preferred, with the ability to communicate across international teams and with overseas vendors
