KBR Mission Technical Solutions delivers full life cycle professional and technical solutions to improve operational readiness for various federal agencies. The National Security Solutions – Subcontracts Intern will support senior subcontracts administrators in proposal preparation, contract analysis, and execution of subcontracts, while gaining valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities

Proposal preparation, subcontract negotiations, fact finding, contract analysis and administration, and / or Government audit activities

Assisting with the execution of subcontracts and working with subcontract customers, which include the U.S. Government, Commercial and / or International Customers, and Prime U.S. Government Contractors

Conducting contract closeouts by collaborating with other program functions to ensure the closeout process is complete

Work with the Program Control to ensure subcontractors are closed out of Costpoint

Work with IT for any government property return and then obtain the necessary documentation for the PMs and subcontractors to close out the files

Set-up new subcontract files for new contract awards where you will work with the Program Managers, Accounting and Program Control to ensure the subcontractors are set up for new awards

Customer communication via email and/or formal letters

Scheduling and reporting deliveries

Weekly, monthly, or quarterly reports, as required by the Business Area

Compiling and maintaining contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and company policies

Qualification

Required

Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Law or Supply Chain Management

Strong work ethics and interpersonal skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must be a US Citizen

Must pass a Security Pre-Screen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance
