Responsibilities

Produces high quality diagnostic radiographs
Assists practitioner with percutaneous localizations and aspirations of the breast
Optimizes mammography procedures by completing QA-QC protocols
Exercises professional judgment in providing health care services, applying x-ray energy, to assist in diagnosis or treatment of patients in all age groups from newborn to elderly
Multi-skilled in the additional area of mammography
Other related duties as assigned

Qualification

Diagnostic RadiographyMammographyARRT CertificationQuality AssuranceProfessional Judgment

Required

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Experience: 2 years in diagnostic mammography radiography
Certification: ARRT ( R, M), state license if required

Preferred

Education: Associates degree
