Responsibilities
Own and build budgets, cash flow models, and forecasts - personally (not just review)
Lead construction/project accounting: job costing, profitability by project, variance control, and early risk flags
Establish disciplined cash management as a core operating rhythm
Work directly in NetSuite and ensure financial data is accurate, timely, and actionable
Lead a small finance function (this role + 2) and coordinate with external accountants
Partner with leadership to support scaling a fast-growing business (~20% YoY)
Qualification
Required
Strong construction/project accounting experience (job costing, project P&L;, margins by job)
Inventory accounting experience
Proven hands-on execution within the last 3-5 years (you can do the work yourself)
Executive presence and backbone - able to say 'no', confront risk, and protect the business financially
Preferred
NetSuite experience (strongly preferred)
Experience scaling finance operations during rapid growth in a project-based environment
CPA credential
U.S. GAAP compliance expertise
Specific LED lighting industry experience (construction/project accounting transfers)
