Environmental Health and Safety Engineer
CTC is seeking a passionate EHS professional who excels in technical expertise, regulatory compliance, and people leadership. The role involves championing workplace safety, delivering impactful EHS training, and conducting risk assessments in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Champion workplace safety through communication, education, and action
Deliver impactful EHS training (respiratory fit testing, fall protection, hazard communication, ergonomics, etc.)
Conduct ergonomic assessments, evaluate risks, and collaborate with teams to design practical solutions
Research and implement OSHA, NFPA, NEC, SEMI, ANSI codes
Perform PPE and industrial hygiene risk assessments, recommend improvements, and report results
Drive incident investigations with root cause analysis to strengthen systems
Chair safety committees, close action items, and build strong internal/external relationships
Support engineering and administrative controls to reduce risk
Review policies, share best practices, and provide safety coaching across teams and regions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of EHS experience (semiconductor equipment manufacturing experience strongly preferred)
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations
Experience with industrial hygiene characterizations, ergonomics, root cause analysis, and compliance systems
Excellent communication skills, both interpersonal and written
Dependable, adaptable, and steady under pressure
Preferred
Certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, CPE) are a plus
