Responsibilities
Architect, develop, and enhance Teradata data warehouse solutions
Lead and coordinate across multiple DW teams on complex initiatives
Define and refine DW policies, standards, and best practices
Translate business needs into scalable physical data models
Present technical solutions to review boards and project sponsors
Provide technical leadership, code guidance, and peer review
Support disaster recovery, change management, and security testing
Assist with project estimation, planning, and budgeting
Qualification
Required
6+ years building Data Warehouse BI solutions
ETL development
Data marts
Reporting & dashboards
Teradata platform experience
SQL Assistant / Teradata Studio explicitly mentioned
2+ years domain experience in at least one: Child Welfare Services, Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Services
Local to Lansing, MI (≤2 hours commute)
Willing to work onsite 2 days/week and attend in-person interviews
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
Preferred
State of Michigan PMM / SUITE / Agile methodology experience
End-user training and stakeholder-facing presentation experience
Data modeling (logical → physical) with reporting optimization
Data reconciliation to source systems
Performance tuning for analytical queries
