Responsibilities
Procures and distributes medication orders per physician request, or prearranged work assignment according to established policies, procedures, and protocols
Contributes to the effective operation of the department
Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective medication therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
Maintains adequate stock of medications and supplies according to established policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
HS diploma or equivalent
Active enrollment in an accredited college of pharmacy verified at time of hire and coursework started within 180 days
Registered Pharmacy Intern - MO
Employees must obtain Registered Pharmacy Intern - MO or equivalent within 180 days
PHARM INT REG MO Registered Pharmacy Intern - MO or proof of pharmacy technician license, or application submitted to board of pharmacy prior to hire with intern license obtained within 180 days of hire. Only if primary work location is in Missouri. Required 180 Days
PHARM INT REG KS Registered Pharmacy Intern - KS or proof of pharmacy technician license, or application submitted to board of pharmacy prior to hire with intern license obtained within 180 days of hire. Only if primary work location is in Kansas. Required 180 Days
