Responsibilities

The position is responsible for designing, creating, documenting, and maintaining analytics data flows from Enterprise safe sources through an analytics data layer to end consumers via direct data connections or reporting tools

The incumbent contributes to the work group by being the subject matter expert for their responsible data threads and serves as overlap with team members to support the team’s data and product portfolio

Contributions include data sets that have been cleansed, normalized, and crafted to support specific business use cases while adhering to the team’s standards and scope

Interpreting customer data requests and identify the best solution

Designing (documenting), building, and testing the relevant Snowflake data model to provide the desired solution

Building Power BI reporting, potentially with Power App supplementation of the developed data flow

Communicating changes and usage to customers and other data consumers

Required

5-7 years of professional experience in database analysis, transformations, and pipelines; minimum experience - 3 years

B.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Procurement, Supply Chain, or related specialty with an emphasis on digital systems and data

SQL Development in Snowflake

Python development for ETL Pipelines

Power BI for front-end reporting and visualization

Effective communication

Knowledge of Procurement or Supply Chain processes and products

Presentation skills (to deliver end products)

Detail Oriented

Mentoring (code standards and reviews)

Negotiation

Preferred

SAS experience is a plus

Business requirement gathering and translation to technical tasks

Adherence of code standards (formats, naming conventions, etc.)
