Responsibilities
Develop and execute a multi-year roll-up strategy targeting complementary security integrators, service providers, and regional leaders
Define acquisition criteria including revenue, margins, geography, customer mix, and technical capabilities
Partner with ownership to evaluate targets, lead diligence, and negotiate transactions
Own post-acquisition integration, including operating model alignment, systems consolidation, and cultural integration
Ensure acquisitions contribute to growth, margin expansion, and platform scale
Accelerate organic growth across the platform through cross-selling, upselling, and expanded enterprise relationships
Build a unified go-to-market strategy across acquired companies while preserving local customer relationships
Expand recurring revenue streams (service contracts, monitoring, managed services, lifecycle agreements)
Establish vertical market specialization to drive differentiation and pricing power
Design and implement a scalable operating model across sales, project delivery, service, engineering, finance, and IT
Standardize processes, KPIs, systems, and reporting across acquired entities
Balance centralized platform functions with decentralized field execution
Ensure consistent quality, safety, compliance, and customer experience across the portfolio
Own full P&L responsibility with focus on revenue growth, EBITDA expansion, and cash generation
Drive margin improvement through pricing discipline, procurement leverage, labor productivity, and operational synergies
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, working capital management, and capital deployment
Partner with the Board on financing strategy, leverage management, and return on invested capital
Build and lead a high-caliber executive leadership team capable of scaling a multi-company platform
Recruit and retain leaders who can operate effectively in an acquisitive, fast-paced environment
Establish a performance-driven culture focused on accountability, growth, and integration discipline
Develop succession plans and leadership bench strength across the platform
Serve as primary interface with the Board and ownership group
Provide transparent reporting on acquisition pipeline, integration progress, and value creation metrics
Represent the company to lenders, strategic partners, customers, and industry stakeholders
Act as a visible, credible leader in the security integration industry
Qualification
Required
CEO, President, or senior executive experience leading a roll-up or platform strategy in a service-based or project-driven business
Demonstrated track record executing multiple acquisitions and successfully integrating them
Strong commercial acumen with experience scaling revenue in fragmented markets
Full P&L ownership with focus on EBITDA growth and cash flow
Experience working closely with private equity investors and Boards
Preferred
Background in low-voltage security integration, technology services, construction services, or adjacent industries
Experience scaling a business from $50M to $200M+ through acquisitions and organic growth
Multi-location operational leadership experience
Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and project management system consolidation
