Responsibilities
Rack, stack, and decommission servers, network, and storage equipment
Replace hardware components (hard drives, memory, power supplies, cables)
Label, inventory, and document all hardware changes
Manage structured cabling (fiber/copper) installations and patching
Perform power and cooling checks
Maintain cleanliness and safety in the data center
Respond to service tickets for physical interventions (system reboots, cable reseating, LED status checks)
Collaborate with remote teams for diagnostics and updates
Escalate issues as needed
Maintain logs of activities and interventions
Provide reports on equipment status and completed tasks
Use monitoring tools and asset management systems
Qualification
Required
Experience: 5-7 years in hands-on IT support or data center environment
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of servers, networking equipment, and structured cabling
Tools: Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, TDX)
Physical Ability: Lift equipment up to 50 lbs; work in physically demanding environments
Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills
