In this role, the student will assist in a wide variety of initiatives and projects, gaining exposure to a fast-paced manufacturing and engineering environment while developing a detailed understanding of Plug Power’s products.

Responsibilities
Support Process Improvement Initiatives: Assist in identifying, analyzing, and improving processes to enhance efficiency across supply chain departments
Define New Procedures: Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) that optimize day-to-day practices in planning, purchasing, logistics, and quality
Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and present data to support decision-making and process optimization efforts
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with supply chain teams to understand challenges and implement solutions tailored to departmental needs
Contribute to System Development: Participate in creating and testing robust systems for improving workflow and efficiency within the supply chain
Gain a foundational understanding of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in manufacturing and technology
Communication and Collaboration skill enhancement
Develop effective communication skills by collaborating with team members and presenting findings to different stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Bachelor of Science, Master's in Supply Chain, or PhD degree in a related program
Must have reliable transportation to the office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess solid hands-on approach to problem-solving
Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail
Excellent follow-through
Must be driven and self-motivated
