Human Resources Agency Partner - Dept. of Workforce Services Field Office
NEOGOV is seeking a Human Resource Agency Partner to deliver high-quality HR services at the Department of Workforce Services. The role involves consulting with agency management teams and providing comprehensive HR solutions, including addressing employment liability issues and supporting talent management initiatives.

Responsibilities
Partners with agency leaders to translate agency goals into actionable HR strategies
Conducts workforce analysis and develops long-term human capital plans
Provides guidance and coaching to managers on performance management, employee relations, and talent development
Collaborates effectively with HR colleagues and other departments to deliver seamless HR services
Presents HR initiatives to agency leaders and facilitates communication between employees and management
Provides guidance on employee relations issues, conducts thorough and impartial investigations, manages ADA accommodations, and administers FMLA leave
Consults, advises, and assists management on employee discipline, recommends appropriate disciplinary actions, and ensures compliance with policies and procedures
Executes job duties in compliance with applicable laws
Provides insight and advice on how to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEO
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of changes in employment law and best practices
Supports talent development initiatives, including succession planning and leadership development programs
Provides guidance and support to agencies during periods of change
Works with HR partners to provide agencies with HR metrics and dashboards to track progress and demonstrate value
Generates standard HR reports, analyzes HR metrics, and identifies areas for improvement
Identifies training needs, creates engaging training materials, delivers training and evaluates the effectiveness of training programs
Objectively assesses information and makes sound judgments in complex or ambiguous situations
Anticipates potential problems and develops contingency plans
Qualification
Required
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Proven experience in Human Resources (e.g. employee relations, training & development)
Strong understanding of applicable federal and state employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, Title VII)
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions
Proven ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
High level of work ethic and commitment to excellence
Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities
A strong desire for continuous learning and professional development
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field or work related experience
DHRM Preference may be given
