BSC Industries is a fast-growing industrial distributor seeking an Inside Sales professional. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for existing and prospective accounts, managing inquiries, preparing quotes, and processing orders while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Work cooperatively with management, all other branch and division personnel, and outside sales reps to grow existing customers, create new customers, and increase customer satisfaction

Respond to customer inquiries at the sales counter, by phone and by email

Process customer orders, check availability of stock, shipping dates, quote pricing, fill orders to customer specifications

Apply mechanical principles to address customer needs

Provide solutions and recommend new and better products

Provide exceptional customer service

Customer outreach and quote follow up to dormant accounts

Qualification

Industrial distribution experiencePower transmission componentsEpicor Prophet 21Mechanical aptitudeMicrosoft OfficeCustomer service skillsMathematical aptitudeWillingness to learnCommunication skillsPositive attitude

Required

2-5 years of experience in the industrial distribution industry or an allied industry a plus

Experience in applying power transmission components to solve industrial applications, including speed reducers, brakes, pulleys, sprockets, gearing and electric motors a plus

Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Mechanical and mathematical aptitude

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

High school diploma or equivalent
