Responsibilities
Navigate and update multiple electronic systems while accurately documenting investigative steps taken to resolve customer issues
Assess customer activity and determine appropriate action using established fraud-prevention procedures
Apply account holds and execute security measures for accounts exhibiting fraudulent behavior
Escalate complex or high-risk cases to supervisors or Compliance partners as required
Maintain timely, thorough, and compliant records to support audit and regulatory requirements
Communicate professionally with customers, merchants, financial institutions, and internal partners to resolve issues or obtain supporting documentation
Support victims of identity theft using approved communication guidelines while ensuring both customer and bank protection
Review and evaluate documentation to determine authenticity and validity
Handle inbound and outbound escalated calls as requested by team leaders or Compliance teams
Participate in initiatives aimed at reducing fraud-related complaints and improving the overall customer experience
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of relevant customer service and/or fraud investigation experience
Strong understanding of customer service best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a positive, professional attitude
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to manage and de-escalate challenging or sensitive conversations calmly and effectively
