RoboStruct Technologies is seeking Test Engineering Interns to join their team. Interns will work with engineers and industry professionals to support the development and testing of hardware and firmware used in industrial applications, contributing to real projects while gaining exposure to the company's business structure.

Responsibilities

Develop test requirements and execute hardware verification test plans for board-level functional testing
Support EMC validation, certification agency compliance (UL, ATEX, IECEx), and functional safety (IEC 61508)
Perform programming, analysis, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware prototypes
Contribute to product design documentation and test reports
Design and develop scripts for automating test procedures
Document and execute manual and automated test procedures to verify product functionality
Create test reports and assist with lab audit and improvement activities
Support build and commissioning of test firmware and hardware platforms

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution
Basic programming skills (C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or LabVIEW)
Basic knowledge of circuit theory, including microprocessors, digital logic devices, analog systems, and DC power conversion
Familiarity with programmable devices such as CPLDs and FPGAs
Experience or academic exposure to design capture tools and schematic drawings

Preferred

Exposure to power electronics or motor systems
Familiarity with tools such as CAD software, Creo Parametric, ERP systems, 3D modeling tools, SAP, and MATLAB
Exposure to industrial automation environments including PLCs or drive systems
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
