Responsibilities
Develop and execute end-to-end testing strategies for Cerner EHR workflows
Create and maintain:
Test plans
Test scripts
Test scenarios
Test evidence and regression suites
Define test entry/exit criteria and ensure adherence to quality standards
Execute testing for application and component releases
Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams
Track and report testing metrics such as quality, performance, and coverage
Facilitate defect triage meetings and manage issue escalation
Communicate testing status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and clients
Align testing efforts with strategic direction from senior leadership
Qualification
Required
direct hands on Cerner Testing exp across these applications - patient registration, RadNet, PharmNet, FirstNet, Perioperative Workflows, laboratory (General and/or Micro), Revenue Cycle, and CPOE
100% remote
4-6 week to onboard (Public Trust)
5+ years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in IT
Direct, hands-on Cerner/Oracle Health EHR testing experience
Strong experience in software testing across the SDLC
Planning, constructing, and executing test scripts
Designing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test data
Coordinating integrated testing, UAT, regression testing, and production validation
Conducting defect triage and issue management with development and business teams
Ability to work independently and lead testing efforts in a multi-application environment
Eligibility to obtain Public Trust clearance
Preferred
Experience in the Healthcare or Provider industry
Knowledge of healthcare workflows, including: Revenue Cycle, Ambulatory, Laboratory, Pharmacy, Supply Chain, Telehealth
Understanding of healthcare integration standards: HL7 v2, FHIR, DICOM, C-CDA
Experience with System Integration Testing (SIT)
Performance, usability, and automation testing
