Population Health Intern
Emory Healthcare is a leading academic health system, and they are seeking a Population Health Intern to support their Population Health Collaborative initiatives. This role is designed for a student or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in areas such as Value-Based Care, quality improvement, and healthcare data analytics.

Responsibilities
Assist in gathering and reviewing data to support operations or identify trends in chronic disease management and preventive care gaps (e.g., Annual Wellness Visits, screenings)
Support the creation of toolkits and educational materials used to brief physicians and clinical staff on quality metrics and operational initiatives
Assist in the development of patient-facing communications and educational resources
As assigned depending on current initiatives and needs
Additional Duties as Assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program (MPH, MHA, MBA, or related Health Science field)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly
Professional written and verbal communication skills for interaction with diverse administrative and clinical stakeholders
Preferred
Interest in learning more about the transition from Fee-for-Service to Value-Based reimbursement and managing acute episodes of care to managing population health
Prior experience or coursework in healthcare operations, policy, public health or statistics
