The summer undergraduate internship provides students with hands-on experience in public opinion research, data analysis, and survey processes, allowing them to work closely with researchers on various tasks throughout the internship period.

Responsibilities

Participate in various stages of the research process, such as background research, questionnaire development, data analysis and visualization, and writing

Assist the research team on various aspects of the survey process, including questionnaire development, data management, statistical analysis, reporting of survey results and quality control

Required

College students who are pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree and have completed a minimum of two years (in other words, rising juniors and seniors)

Interest in public opinion, polling and social science

Experience working with data and data analysis in SPSS, R, Stata, SAS or other statistical software
