Responsibilities

Investigate & Improve: Dive deep into data systems to uncover insights, troubleshoot issues, and design scalable databases and models that power high-volume, low-latency applications
ETL Development: Maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring best performance and reliability
Plan for Scale: Influence planning, and scalability strategies to meet evolving business needs
Collaborate & Align: Inform requirements for developers, product managers, solution architects, and strategists to deliver impactful outcomes
Technical Expertise: Act as a trusted consultant to architects and business partners, managing dependencies and guiding best practices
Stay Curious: Embrace change, learn new technologies, and apply fresh skillsets to ensure team and company success
Secure & Comply: Uphold database security standards and ensure compliance with policies and regulations

Qualification

Required

Minimum 3+ years in enterprise environments managing relational and non-relational databases
Knowledge of CRM concepts, marketing data, and marketing technologies
Programming: SQL, Python (or Scala/Java)
Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) & NoSQL (DynamoDB)
Experience building and scaling ETL/data pipelines for high-volume, low-latency applications
Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab
Understanding data lifecycle, analysis principles
Basic concepts of distributed systems, scalability

Preferred

Familiarity with data governance, privacy regulations, and security best practices
Experience with tools like Apache Airflow
Familiarity with Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
