International Paper is a leading global supplier of renewable fiber-based products. They are seeking a Production Associate to safely run machines, maintain quality and production standards, and perform various duties related to production operations.

Responsibilities

Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times
Count and stack finished product
Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications
Utilize basic shop math
Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment
Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders
Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company
Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production
Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift
Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings; and
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision

Industrial Plant experienceForklift experienceCorrugated industry experienceBasic shop mathTape measure readingFollowing instructionsTeamworkFast-paced environment

Required

3-6 months hands on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler
The ability to use basic shop math
The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team

Preferred

Corrugated industry experience
Sit down Forklift/pull pack experience
