Responsibilities
Work on projects and assignments as part of a large work team
Assist division management or project team with the development and formulation of strategic long range and short-range plans to build performance and direct process improvement, which demands predictability in forecasting
Regularly work with confidential data and is responsible for maintenance as well as handling of goods, tools, equipment, and valuable software
Develop purchasing and inventory plans. Place constraints where necessary to achieve capacity requirements and financial budget objectives
Expedite and monitor production orders through supply chain to satisfy service demands
Issue purchasing requisitions for assigned product category
Follow up with shortage report and provide in stock arrival date
Authorize and assign inventory rehandles as needed
May track critical vendor shipments for projections using the weekly PPRs responsible for establishing, monitoring, and managing all import product development and follow up design
Conduct studies, prepare reports, and advise on feasibility, cost effectiveness and regulatory conformance, while utilizing knowledge of subject area, research techniques, and regulatory limitations
Perform other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience
2-4 years' relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience
Demonstrates strong knowledge of technical, process, and business principles as well as industry practices and standards
Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products
