Senior Product Management Specialist

Responsibilities
Vendor Onboarding & Qualification (Business Support)
Product Managers retain primary ownership of vendor onboarding activities, including vendor qualification, assortment definition, pricing alignment, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring catalog and business readiness for beta. The Senior Product Manager Specialist supports this process by partnering closely with Product Managers and vendors to facilitate coordination, provide commercial input, and help ensure a smooth progression into beta and launch phases
Coordinate vendor introductions and onboarding meetings with internal stakeholders and vendor leadership
Partner with the Product Management team to ensure vendors are prepared to progress into technical onboarding once business approval is complete
Support vendor readiness from a business standpoint prior to beta or launch, including alignment on commercial terms, programs, and expectations
Vendor Relationship, Meetings & Issue Management
Serve as a primary relationship contact and day-to-day liaison for assigned Vendor Alliance Partners
Coordinate and lead recurring vendor meetings, including monthly check-in meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), focused on performance, issues, opportunities, and alignment
Manage vendor-related issues from an operational and business perspective, including order-related issues, escalations, and coordination with Product Management for resolution
Identify vendor performance risks and opportunities and support corrective action plans or growth initiatives as appropriate
Collaborate with Vendor Alliance Partners on vendor compliance, suspensions, reinstatements, and adherence to alliance standards
Sales Performance, Forecasting & Analytics
Monitor vendor sales performance and trends using DOMO, including weekly, monthly, and year-to-date (YTD) reporting
Prepare and review sales performance and financial reports, identifying insights, risks, and opportunities across historical results and forward-looking projections
Partner with Finance and Product leadership to support sales forecasting and financial planning, including bottoms-up vendor forecasts, validation of financial assumptions, and identification of potential risks or upside opportunities relative to the financial plan
Leverage data and trend analysis to inform vendor discussions, decision-making, and prioritization
Provide performance and forecast updates to Product leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
Promotions, Programs & Marketing Coordination
Support and coordinate vendor promotional activity, including flex promotions, annual vendor promotions, and vendor programs, in partnership with Product Managers, Marketing, and vendors
Collaborate with Marketing and Product to plan, execute, and communicate promotions and vendor programs, ensuring clear franchise-facing messaging and operational readiness
Maintain and manage the annual vendor promotional calendar, coordinating timing, dependencies, and communications across internal teams and vendors
Ensure promotional activities align with vendor agreements, approved program structures, system capabilities, and franchise communications
Rebates, Financial Programs & Revenue Reporting
Partner with Finance and Accounting by leveraging rebate and sales reports to support vendor and product performance reporting, analysis, and decision-making
Coordinate and distribute monthly rebate and revenue reporting for visibility into vendor performance and program effectiveness, without direct ownership of rebate collection or reconciliation
Ensure rebate-related reporting and communications are accurate, timely, and aligned with vendor agreements, escalating discrepancies or issues to Finance or Accounting as needed
Samples, Product Ordering & Support Requests
Coordinate vendor product and sample ordering in support of business needs, including photo shoots, marketing initiatives, internal reviews, training, and associate requests
Partner with Product, Marketing, and vendors to ensure sample availability, timely delivery, and appropriate usage
Maintain visibility into sample-related requests to support prioritization and budget awareness
Vendor Events, Training & Convention Support
Coordinate vendor participation in system-wide events, including convention, vendor summits, and internal meetings
Partner with vendors on training coordination, including breakout sessions, educational content, and support for convention and franchise events
Manage vendor logistics, communications, and alignment in collaboration with the Events team, Marketing, Product, and Operations
Vendor & Franchise Communications
Coordinate vendor-facing and franchise-facing communications related to vendor programs, performance updates, and operational initiatives
Support vendor communications related to franchise lifecycle events, including franchise openings, closings, transfers, and status changes
Ensure communications are timely, accurate, and aligned with Product, Operations, and Communications teams
Cross-Functional Leadership & Alignment
Act as an internal coordinator for vendor-related initiatives, aligning Product, Catalog Management, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Vendor Alliance teams
Partner closely with Catalog Management during onboarding, beta, and launches while maintaining a clear separation between business coordination and technical execution
Escalate risks, issues, and decisions to Product leadership as appropriate
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties and support cross-functional initiatives as assigned based on evolving business needs
Qualification
Required
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and apply insights to decision-making
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in vendor management, partner management, product operations, or commercial roles
Strong relationship management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
Experience in franchising, home services, or building products industries
Familiarity with vendor rebate programs, promotional funding models, forecasting, and performance analytics
Experience working with vendor alliance or product management teams
