Responsibilities
Design and develop control systems for automated equipment and processes
Program PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, and SCADA systems
Create and interpret electrical schematics and control panel layouts
Integrate sensors, actuators, and other instrumentation into control systems
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues on the plant floor or during commissioning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers
Support installation, commissioning, and testing of control systems
Maintain documentation, including control logic, diagrams, and project reports
Ensure systems comply with safety and regulatory standards. (e.g., OSHA, NEC, IEC)
Continuously optimize control systems to improve performance, efficiency, and reliability
Confidently demonstrate strong electrical trouble shooting ability
Qualification
Required
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in industrial automation or control systems design
Proficiency in PLC programming ( Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, Etc.)
Knowledge of PID control, motor control, VFDs, and instrumentation
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred
Experience with robotics or motion control systems
Experience with HMI/SCADA software (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, Factory Talk)
