Global Vice President of Product Development

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Global Product Development to join our leadership team, responsible for driving the development of our product portfolio and leading a global team to deliver high-impact products.

Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the company’s global product strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs
Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to product launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
Lead and mentor a global team of product managers, engineers, and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment
Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Operations) to define product strategies and align them with overall business objectives
Prioritize and manage product development projects across regions, balancing resource allocation and ensuring efficient use of global teams
Drive product innovation by staying ahead of industry trends, customer insights, and technological advancements
Ensure all products meet regulatory and compliance standards across different regions
Develop and maintain product roadmaps, setting clear milestones and KPIs to track progress and performance
Lead the creation of product specifications, prototypes, and detailed requirements for new product development
Manage the product portfolio, identifying opportunities for improvement, expansion, or innovation
Monitor product performance and customer feedback, making iterative improvements to enhance user satisfaction and drive product success
Manage budgets and resources for product development projects, ensuring alignment with company financial goals
Regularly communicate progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership and key stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
At least 10-12 years of experience in product development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing global teams
Proven experience managing a global product development portfolio and delivering complex products to market
Strong expertise in product development processes, including Agile and stage-gate methodologies
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive cross-functional teams toward common goals
In-depth knowledge of global markets, customer needs, and regulatory requirements in different regions
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders
Experience with product lifecycle management, from ideation to commercialization
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
