Cascades is a company focused on sustainable development and innovative solutions in packaging and recovery. They are seeking an HR Technician to support various HR functions including employee record management, onboarding, and engagement activities.

Responsibilities

Ability to process invoices and handle document management (filing, organizing employee records)

Assist with open enrollment, plant and community event planning and executing, and other cyclical events

Support HR team with employment data management, reporting, mandatory meeting preparation

Serve as backup for Payroll to ensure smooth and accurate processing

Organize onsite meals and manage ordering and inventory of office supplies

Support plant engagement activities such as leading employee recognition events, service anniversary celebrations, etc

Assist with onboarding / offboarding activities

Lead plant communications through collaboration; USPS, internal deliveries, greet visitors, create and issue access badges, follow up on voicemails and phone calls, etc

Maintaining self-service site for site employees with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Collaborating on safety culture, supporting plant leaders, and proposing strategic solutions as needed
