Responsibilities

Work with PhD-level scientists to develop and improve computational software for small molecule drug discovery
Apply a variety of computational methods—such as free energy calculations, molecular dynamics simulations, and other modeling techniques—to enhance the accuracy and performance of the software

Qualification

Python programmingStatistical mechanicsThermodynamicsMolecular dynamicsFree-energy perturbation theoryFree energy calculationsC++ programmingCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Experience with Python programming
Solid understanding of one or more of the following: statistical mechanics, thermodynamics, molecular dynamics, and free-energy perturbation theory
Good communication skills and ability to work as a part of a diverse team

Preferred

Practical experience running free energy calculations(e.g., RBFE or related methods) or conformational sampling in real projects
3+ years of experience developing in modern scientific languages (Python, C++ etc.)
