Responsibilities
Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Infrastructure Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Infrastructure Engineering deliverables
Review and analyze moderately complex Infrastructure Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Infrastructure Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate with client personnel in Infrastructure Engineering
Qualification
Required
4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
8+ Years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware Messaging environments including IBM MQ (aka WebSphere MQ), IBM Message Broker (ACE/IIB), KAFKA, Solace
MQ Administration - performing activities build, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, deploys, configuring, patching and compliance
Experience in configuring MQ Queue Managers and troubleshooting issues involving MQ Clusters
Creating, configuring, and maintaining MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, Topics
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership
Robust team or technical leadership experience
Robust verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
12+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Good understanding of MQ monitoring tools like IR360
Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment
Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area
Provide implementation support for key risk initiatives
Experience with IBM MQ on zOS, zLinux, AIX is a plus
Experience with IBM MQ Appliance
Understanding Incident Management System (ServiceNow preferred)
Monitoring Alerts, Batch Failures, Service Now Queue
Handle outage calls efficiently, triage any issues, and fix them
Experience in Ansible, and UDeploy
Experience with types of Jobs Failures and Troubleshooting
Preferred
zOS Mainframe experience a plus
Experience with IBM MQ on zOS, zLinux, AIX is a plus
