District Program Bookkeeper

Responsibilities
Prepare and manage program-specific budgets
Enter and track expenses and prepare journal entries as necessary
Monitor spending against approved budgets and report variances
Prepare budget summaries for program management and work closely with department heads and leadership to provide budget insights and forecasts
Support audits, grant reporting, and funding documentation
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in accounting, business/public administration, or finance from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience
Four (4) years of fiscal analysis job-related experience
Two (2) years of experience at the lower level Budget Analyst 1 (FIP010) or equivalent position
