Responsibilities

Debug, analyze, and resolve complex issues in native Android applications across different Android versions and hardware platforms

Perform in-depth investigation of crashes, ANRs, memory leaks, performance bottlenecks, and system stability issues

Work extensively with Android native components such as Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers, Content Providers, and background execution mechanisms

Analyze application behavior using Logcat, ADB, dumpsys, systrace, bugreports, and profiling tools

Identify and fix issues related to Android lifecycle management, threading, IPC, permissions, and resource handling

Support integration and validation of Android applications on embedded and automotive infotainment (IVI) platforms

Collaborate with platform, system, and QA teams to debug issues spanning application, middleware, and OS layers

Investigate regressions introduced by OS upgrades, device-specific customizations, or framework changes

Provide root-cause analysis (RCA) and long-term corrective solutions for production and field issues

Review logs and traces from real vehicles or test benches to troubleshoot infotainment system behavior

Exposure to Kotlin, coroutines, and RxJava for understanding asynchronous flows and debugging reactive code paths

Basic understanding of Android Framework internals (system services, Binder IPC, ActivityManager, WindowManager) to assist in system-level issue analysis
