Responsibilities
Provide high-level, specialized accounting, financial management, and fund accounting services in support of the Rural Health Transformation Fund
Oversee and certify financial transactions related to revenues and expenditures
Oversee federal accounting, recording, and reporting functions, including the submission of federally mandated reports
Ensure compliance with state and federal accounting and reporting requirements
Provide complex financial analysis, fund accounting, compliance, and internal control for a significant federal grant program
Ensure the integrity of financial reporting
Work closely with project coordinators, the Administrative Operations Manager, and federal partners to administer program funds and adjust budgets as program needs evolve
Qualification
Required
Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in Analysis and Assessment
Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to interpret quantitative and qualitative data
Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, standards, and practices
Identifies rules, principles, or relationships that explain facts, data, or other information
Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job

Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving: uses a logical, systematic, sequential approach to address problems or opportunities
Attention to Detail: Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail
