Responsibilities
Architect and implement Google Distributed Cloud Edge solutions aligned to enterprise needs
Define best practices for Edge workloads, connectivity, and distributed architecture
Deploy, scale, and manage Kubernetes (GKE/Anthos) clusters within Edge environments
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform (advanced modules, remote state, workspaces)
Implement secure authentication/authorization models (Cloud IAM, RBAC, Workload Identity Federation)
Collaborate with client teams to design resilient solutions that meet performance, scalability, and compliance requirements
Provide hands-on leadership in cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and platform observability
Qualification
Required
10+ years in IT infrastructure architecture, cloud engineering, or DevOps
Deep, hands-on expertise with Google Distributed Cloud Edge (GDCE)
Advanced knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architectural patterns
Strong Kubernetes/GKE administration experience within distributed environments
Proven ability to automate with Terraform at scale
Proficiency with Python scripting for infrastructure automation
Strong background in cloud security, including encryption, VPC design, and service account management
Preferred
Experience with Anthos on-prem and hybrid deployments
Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio)
Expertise in monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry
Strong client-facing skills, with ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers
