ComTec Information Systems is looking for a 401(k) Retirement Analyst to support their retirement benefits strategy and administration for the Company's US and Puerto Rico retirement plans. The role involves data analysis, reconciliation, and collaboration with Payroll and Vendor Partners to ensure compliance and address participant inquiries.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day retirement team’s administrative needs

Support data analysis, reconciliation, internal process audits as needed

Collaborate with Payroll/Vendor Partners to resolve indicative data and financial discrepancies

Contribution funding and asset reconciliation

Assist with running reports

Address the participant inquiries via AskHR ticket system

Support annual 401k audit inquiries and respond to specific needs and requests, both internal and external

Required

At least 5 years of 401(k) plan-related administration experience

Knowledge of retirement benefits and related concepts (Loans, Hardships, 5500 filings, etc.)

Intermediate to advanced-level Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications (Mail Merge, etc.)

Critical thinking/deductive reasoning skills to investigate and resolve issues

Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

Must maintain high level of confidentiality to protect employee privacy/confidential data

Highly ethical, flexible, inquisitive & logical

Strong customer focus, communication skills and a collaborative spirit are a must

Analytical skills and ability to learn new processes while adhering to SOPs

Strong attention to detail

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, HR, business administration or related program with no less than 5 years of experience supporting benefits programs or working with benefit consultants/brokers/TPA or internal corporate HR

Understanding of retirement regulations: IRS/DOL/ERISA

Prior experience with a Human Resources Information System (Workday preferred)

Pension/NQDC knowledge is a plus but not required
