Responsibilities

Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-level CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies

Architects and manages secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code principles

Establishes DevOps standards, best practices, and governance across multiple teams and environments

Oversees containerization and orchestration strategies for high availability and resilience

Implements and enforces security, compliance, and monitoring standards throughout the delivery lifecycle

Analyzes and improves cost, performance, and reliability of cloud services

Acts as a technical mentor to junior DevOps engineers, providing guidance on automation, architecture, and troubleshooting

Collaborates with development, QA, operations, and security teams to streamline releases and incident response

Develops and maintains disaster recovery, business continuity, and capacity-planning strategies

Builds and manages dashboards, alerts, and observability tools to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution

Communicates complex technical concepts to leadership and stakeholders in clear, actionable terms

Participates in on-call rotations, post-incident reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and risk
