Responsibilities

Coordinate and facilitate program and project activities such as planning, analysis, execution, and post-implementation support

Develop integrated plans and schedules to track development progress and dependencies across functions and with external parties

Drive the execution of deliverables across multiple geographically dispersed teams and functions

Coordinate work for geographically distributed scrum teams utilizing Agile/Scrum/Lean principles and practices

Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues, dependencies and impacts

Provide timely and accurate reporting on program progress to all stakeholders

Partner with the Product & Technology leads to drive effective Quarterly Execution Planning (QEP) leveraging Jira Align as the Single Source of Truth

Facilitate prioritization of Initiatives & Epics that align to the Objectives & Business Results (OKRs) and available workforce capacity

Manage resource rosters for their Team of Teams in Jira, Jira Align and Polaris

Ensure effective participation of the teams in the Quarterly Execution Planning (QEP) activities across programs, collaborating with partners in Operations & Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and other Visa Technology verticals

Ensure that the program and projects follow Visa's Agile Management Methodology (AM2) and Key Controls, and that accurate and timely information is reported regularly on program progress and financial status

Learn and adopt Visa’s Secure Software Development Lifecycle Management (SSDLC), Golden Rules, release management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes

Manage cross-functional communications to maximize understanding, impact, and speed of change adoption

Assist and support External (FFIEC) & Internal audits. Ensure that all programs supported by the PMO adhere to always audit compliant processes

Participate in continuous improvement efforts by providing input into a framework for program management aligned with modern agile, lean and design thinking practices

Required

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred

Prior hands-on experience in a product development environment leveraging Agile practices and tools

Expert Knowledge of project management principles and Agile development methodologies

Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with other departments and varying levels of management. Must possess the ability to dive deep into technical details with project teams and zoom out to understand and communicate the big picture

Experience with project management and reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Rally, Tableau, Power BI, Excel, JIRA Etc.)

Experience with productivity and collaboration tools, including Share point, Microsoft Teams, Wiki pages, Microsoft 360 Copilot, etc

Scaled Agile Framework Certified – SAFe Agilist or SAFe Program Consultant

Program Management Professional (PgMP) and/or Project Management Professional (PMP)

Experience with JIRA Align, Tableau, Power BI

Payment domain or FinTech experience is a major plus
