Training Program Manager

Responsibilities
Stand up and lead the comprehensive training program for the Farmers Branch site to support staffing ramp, workforce readiness, and accelerated time‑to‑contribution
Develop structured learning pathways and certification programs for all production roles, including operators, technicians, and engineering support
Build and manage a robust onboarding and technical bootcamp program tailored to the needs of a new, scaling workforce
Establish competency models, skill matrices, and progression frameworks aligned with operational requirements
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and HR leadership to identify critical skill gaps and prioritize training development to support factory ramp schedules
Develop training success metrics (e.g., time‑to‑competency, qualification yield, error rate reductions) and use data to optimize the program
Ensure training processes, documentation, and instructional materials support consistent execution as the site grows
Lead the creation of high‑quality technical training materials including e‑learning, SOPs, job aids, blended learning modules, and instructor‑led content
Partner with SMEs, engineering teams, and quality groups to ensure training reflects accurate processes, equipment operations, and compliance requirements
Implement a scalable training governance model that supports continuous skill development and role‑based recertifications
Manage LMS structure and data integrity for Farmers Branch, ensuring audit readiness and compliance with ISO, customer, and EHS requirements
Develop and manage a network of on‑site trainers, mentors, and SMEs; conduct “train‑the‑trainer” programs
Facilitate cross‑site knowledge transfer to accelerate learning curves during ramp‑up and technology transitions
Lead training councils or working groups to coordinate content creation and updates
Support global OpsEdge Academy strategies, contributing Farmers Branch learnings, content, and best practices
Collaborate with the Global Operations Leadership team on curriculum enhancements, standardized learning frameworks, and digital learning technologies
Participate in cross‑site initiatives that strengthen FormFactor’s global training ecosystem
Conduct training needs assessments and use data to drive targeted improvements
Apply lean, Six Sigma, and continuous‑improvement methodologies to enhance training effectiveness and operational outcomes
Integrate digital learning solutions and AI‑enabled tools to improve scalability and learner engagement
Deliver high‑impact classroom and hands‑on instruction when needed for bootcamps, new‑hire cohorts, and critical skill gaps
Provide oversight to ensure consistent, high‑quality delivery of instructor‑led and on‑the‑job training
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work
