Responsibilities

Manage the ERP system, ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system records match physical inventory and production status
Oversee daily office administration and facility operations to ensure efficient workflows
Assist with essential financial workflows, including Accounts Payable/Receivable coordination, invoice verification, and expense tracking
Apply financial understanding to operational decisions, such as analyzing COGS and tracking margins
Work closely with purchasing to optimize supply chain processes and maintain inventory accuracy
Monitor inventory levels and assist in forecasting/capacity planning to ensure we meet customer demand
Act as a key point of contact for suppliers to ensure clear communication, resolve discrepancies, and maintain strong professional partnerships
Serve as a reliable liaison for the customers, providing timely updates on operational status
Partner with the Quality Engineer to analyze product quality data and collaborate with production and engineering teams
Collect and interpret operational data (e.g., lead time databases) to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
Assess current workflows and identify 'friction points' before they become problems
Implement improvements to reduce costs and improve productivity without needing constant supervision

Required

Experience: 3+ years (with Bachelor's degree) or 5+ years (with Associate's degree), preferably in the manufacturing industry
Financial Literacy: Functional understanding of business finance. Candidates should be comfortable with basic accounting principles and understanding the financial impact of operational decisions
Work Environment: Ability to work effectively in a small company setting. Candidates must be comfortable with ambiguity and be able to navigate limited bureaucracy
Initiative: Demonstrated history of taking ownership of projects and tasks beyond the immediate job description
Analytical & Practical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with ERP systems. You must be capable of analyzing complex data sets
