The Controls Engineer will be responsible for preparing engineering drawings, conducting design work, providing technical support, and collaborating on new product development while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and system

Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation

Travel to install site for install and runoffs with customer when applicable and necessary

Work with R&D team on new product development projects including design, testing and technical support

Provide assembly team with technical support during assembly and managing Final Assembly Test. May also support Field service with remote and onsite technical support

Work on continuous improvement activities to improve product performance, cost and standardization

Commitment to safety, understand risks, safety training, reports and document incidents

You will work with company personnel, customers and vendors while representing company

Create bills of materials from specifications and drawings

Work with teams and develop solutions for customers

Integrate Bevcorp equipment with existing machinery in the field

Is a control engineering subject matter expert
