This role involves performing sentencing calculations, maintaining inmate records, and processing open records requests while collaborating with various judicial and law enforcement entities.

Process open records requests

Work in systems such as the Kentucky Offender Management System (KOMS), Court-Net, E-Warrants and the Kentucky Sex Offender Registry System (SOR)

Review inmate records for transfers

Schedule and maintain trips and logs

Work directly with the Office of the Courts and Court Officials as well as Local and State Police

Complete sentence calculations

Compile various reports

Respond to inquiries

Required

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree

Two years of experience in management, administration, legal, paralegal, or offender records

Current or prior military experience will substitute for the required college on a year-for-year basis
