Responsibilities
Maintain and update feed safety, occupational safety, and fleet safety plans
Lead and prepare for FDA, NYS, and third-party audits; manage corrective actions
Oversee QA Lab operations and supervise QA Lab Technician
Conduct monthly inspections and manage compliance programs (pest control, fire safety)
Coordinate training programs including orientation, safety, and job-specific instruction
Investigate issues, recommend preventative measures, and maintain compliance reports
Ensure adherence to OSHA reporting and safety procedures
Qualification
Required
Strong-willed personality, able to balance production priorities with QA needs
Experience with audits (FDA, NYS, or third-party)
PCQI certification and OSHA training
Preferred
Experience in feed or food industry
Dry facility background
Relevant degree
