Business Development Representative
Next Day Plus is a company seeking a Business Development Representative to generate warm sales leads for Account Executives. The role involves prospecting for new business through telemarketing, cold calling, and email outreach, while maintaining metrics and learning the sales process.
Responsibilities
Generate high quality leads through email marketing, targeted cold calling, and referrals
Use open ended questions to discover prospective client’s needs and pain points and record findings in CRM
Average at least 50 calls a day
Schedule between 3-5 new meetings for the Account Executives weekly
Establish a record of quality lead generation
Manage and decipher customer needs by speaking with clients, with an end goal of understanding their pain points to establish warm leads for Account Executives
Maintain records of customer communications and contact information
Expand market awareness for our products and our industry experience, by communicating features and benefits of our products and services effectively
Progress through a three-level program to display ability to effectively manage and grow a sales territory
Expand your company product and services knowledge
Learn and apply sales strategies that are consistent with company goals and expectations
Maintain consistent ability to hit weekly and monthly activity metrics
This role is measured by activity-based and performance metrics, including outbound calls and meetings scheduled
Qualification
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
Previous sales experience not required
Exhibit a positive, optimistic, strong work ethic
Demonstrate strong aptitude with Microsoft Office, focused on Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to proactively contact and communicate with customers to generate qualified leads
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
