Medix Technology is currently seeking a Sr Full-Stack Software Developer, specifically with expertise in Python and React. The role involves developing full stack web and mobile applications for a health system client, focusing on back-end data management and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

Working in a team environment to develop the full stack of web and mobile applications used throughout the hospital system

Participating in the end to end development for assignment products - including estimation, design, development, testing, and deployment

Designing, coding, testing and debugging complex software components in Python, Flask, FastAPI and SQL on the back-end

Working in React on the front-end

Developing new functionality and enhancing existing functionality

Providing technical guidance and leadership to guide customers on satisfying their requirements

Working with, and instilling strong engineering principles and best-practices, such as continuous testing, code refactoring and managing technical debt

Embracing and promoting a kaizen approach of continuous improvement and best-practices for software development

Working with Python, SQL and React on a daily basis. Heavy SQL experience is necessary for query performance tuning, indexing and optimization for large datasets

This role will also be supporting the optimization of ETL pipelines (Apache Airflow) and Data Integrations for optimal application performance
