Kforce Inc is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their client in Saint Louis, MO. The role involves reviewing historical accounting data, preparing monthly journal entries, and assisting in the administration of Accounts Payable among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will review historical accounting data in NetSuite ERP to propose chartfield revisions (including accounts, departments, and projects)
Review of payroll entries and proposed revisions for data uniformity
Expense reports download project from Expensify software to internal server for retention and compliance
Process and procedures documentation with flowcharts preparation and review
Participate in the ongoing administration of Accounts Payable function
Assist in the monthly reconciliation of cash accounts including determination and resolution of reconciling items
The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly journal entries
Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required or working towards equivalent
Experience using accounting software and data analytics
Strong communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient use of Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Teams, and Excel
