Responsibilities

Support the operational teams and with your ICQA Leader in defect resolution, specifically focused on inventory within stored locations in the building
Audit and resolve defects, within an assigned Service Level Agreement (SLA) and then research and document root cause for follow-up to address the issue moving forward to ultimately improve inventory accuracy
Respond to defects found in warehouse locations, often times utilizing powered equipment
Perform weekly audits, collaborating and communicating the findings of those audits and resolution steps with your ICQA Leader and other operational leaders within the building
Utilize the practices of lean approaches, six sigma tools, and 5S techniques within the workplace to drive cleanliness and documentation of defects for root cause analysis
Correct any inventory record inaccuracies in the warehouse and conduct follow up audits that aid with proper research
Address inaccuracies impeding operational teams from picking product, helping to prevent downstream order cancellations
Manage multiple priorities and processes, while offering a level of service that goes above and beyond the basics
Anticipate your leaders’ needs and proactively solve problems before they arise, upholding Target’s values and demonstrating the utmost poise, professionalism and leadership

Required

2 years prior work experience as a warehouse worker, operations technician, quality control technician, or similar warehouse operator
Able to work both independently and in a team environment
Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-45 lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs. occasionally
Ability to read, utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to operate computer systems with minimal direction after receiving training
Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers of those defects
Ability to navigate web-based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Smartsheet) with minimal direction after training
Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis in excel or other web based forms
Ability to be trained on powered equipment as needed
