The Center for Creative Healing is seeking a Bookkeeper to maintain the financial health and accuracy of operations. This part-time role focuses on managing the revenue cycle, posting and tracking payments, and ensuring timely invoicing and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Manage client accounts and payment processing within the Electronic Health Records (EHR) and accounting systems

Post payments accurately and promptly from multiple payers (insurance, client, FAPT, etc.)

Issue invoices and receipts for client and contract services

Reconcile deposits, track accounts receivable, and balance books on a regular basis

Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on delinquent accounts in a timely and professional manner

Develop and manage payment plans for clients as needed

Maintain detailed and organized payment records

Generate invoices and track payments for Community Service Agency (CSA) and other facility contracts

Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure accuracy and timely submission of billing documentation

Prepare simple reports for leadership as needed (e.g., monthly A/R summaries, outstanding balances, payment trends)

Coordinate with the Operations Director to ensure financial processes remain compliant and up to date
