Responsibilities

Ensure production runs according to schedule in a safe and timely manner

Reports directly to the Production Manager and is responsible for all production employees

Gives weekly safety meetings, assigns daily tasks, and conducts meetings as needed to address the production crew

Works closely with the Production Manager, Plant Manager, Inventory Control Personnel, Quality Assurance and Material Procurement

Participates in the interviewing process, the hiring process and firing process

Maintains attendance records and approves benefit time

Schedules daily breaks and must be able to supervise a team of up to 30 employees

Ensures employees are properly trained and that employees are following the company GMP policies

Participate in all monthly inspections, and all internal and external yearly audits of the sections pertaining to the production department

Ensure production is clean and safe for all employees working within the production department

Verifies all production paperwork ensuring that all paperwork pertaining to production is completed correctly, accurately, completely, and daily

Enters all raw materials used during production into DDIMv2/JDE daily

Completes production efficiency tracker daily

Manages hourly employees, implementing to develop good supportive work environments

Support company policies and procedures to drive to excellence
