Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of a US-specific content strategy, aligned with global brand direction and adapted to local culture, trends, and communities
Own content excellence and effectiveness across social, digital, e-commerce, and shopper touchpoints
Adapt and remix global content modules into platform-specific executions for channels such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms
Oversee the end-to-end content lifecycle: ideation, planning, creation, execution, optimization, and redeployment
Act as the local market expert, with a deep understanding of beauty culture, trends, creators, and platform behaviors
Ensure all content is authentic, inclusive, culturally relevant, and community-driven
Maintain strong knowledge of beauty products, ingredients, and industry terminology across skincare, makeup, haircare, and personal care
Track content performance metrics and ROI using internal tools and analytics platforms
Test, learn, optimize, and scale content based on performance insights
Continuously refine content strategy to maximize engagement, reach, and business impact
Lead collaboration with social-first agencies, creators, and content supply chain partners
Develop clear, strategic creative briefs that enable high-quality, on-brand output
Manage agency relationships, provide constructive feedback, and ensure delivery excellence
Leverage end-to-end marketing technology capabilities, including Generative AI, to enhance speed, scale, and effectiveness of content creation
Explore and implement new content creation tools and platforms (AI, automation, emerging tech)
Ensure ethical, responsible, and inclusive use of AI in content creation
Inspire, coach, and motivate internal teams and external partners to deliver high-impact work
Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture
Balance strategic leadership with personal accountability for results

Required

Proven experience leading content creation and content strategy, ideally within beauty, cosmetics, fashion, lifestyle, or consumer brands
Strong background in social media content creation, with a deep understanding of platform nuances and trends
Demonstrated success managing creative agencies and creator ecosystems
A portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, creative excellence, and performance-driven content
Experience using data and analytics to inform content decisions and optimize ROI
Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and visual content judgment skills
Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration abilities

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools for content creation
Familiarity with marketing technology (MarTech) and content supply chain platforms
Experience working in global-to-local brand models
Understanding of ethical considerations in AI-driven content creation
