Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for Financial Professionals and Field Office staff on a wide range of inquiries, resolving escalated and complex cases with professionalism and accuracy
Process commission adjustments, manual payments, agent changes, broker dealer changes, contracting, demographic, and other transactions as designated in accordance with sound Segregation of Duties protocols
Understands critical aspects of upstream and downstream systems regardless of access limitations
Work closely with peers across the company to resolve commissions, contracting and other issues directly or indirectly impacting Financial Professionals
Maintain an attitude of excellence, focused high quality, superior customer service and conveying an attitude of urgency
Communicate verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and organized manner, and on a level that meets the needs of the person or situation
Leverage Penn Mutual product and systems knowledge, including use of AI and other applicable tools, to analyze commissions, contracting and other related functions to provide clear explanations and responses to inquiries
Understand and adhere to key risks and mitigating controls of the department, including those related to AI and data governance
Understand critical components of all departmental functions and provide assistance to specialty tasks including but not limited to Broker Dealer interactions, multi-channel value propositions and other field or financial professional activities as designated
Partner with Life and Annuity Services, Life and Annuity New Business, Payroll, Sales, Product, Actuary, Financial Distribution, Audit, Compliance, Finance and other internal partners
Demonstrates fluency in leveraging AI-enabled tools and platforms to enhance operational efficiency, data accuracy, and customer experience

Required

Broad understanding of the Annuities and Life Insurance Industry, with a working knowledge and experience in contracting and commissions functions
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret data, identify trends, make data-driven decision leveraging AI tools to improve business outcomes
Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong technical skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Co-pilot, and other AI-related platforms
Proactive attitude with ability to work in a team environment and desire for continuously learning
Deep understanding of risk and control functions, reconciliations and the regulatory environment including AI related compliance
Strong math aptitude with an understanding of general accounting principles and state contracting requirements​
Successfully completes regulatory and job training requirements
Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
College degree or equivalent work experience
