The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including accounts payable and receivable, while ensuring compliance with billing guidelines and maintaining the firm's financial health.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the firm, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Process e-billing through client portals such as Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Tymetrix, Collaborati, and similar platforms

Ensure compliance with client-specific billing guidelines and research, correct, and resolve rejected invoice

Support attorneys and billing staff with billing corrections, adjustments, and compliance questions

Assist with collections, vendor payments, and firm expense tracking

Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger

Prepare and file 1099s and assist with year-end clos-out

Provide support to the COO as needed

Maintain compliance with firm accounting policies and trust account regulations

Collaborate with attorneys, billing staff, and the firm administrator to ensure accurate financial data
