The Operational Management Intern will enhance their operational management skills and gain practical knowledge in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment, while working closely with experienced professionals on various operational projects.

Responsibilities

Grow practical knowledge and skill by taking on real-time, on-the-job projects to improve operations such as waste reduction, process optimization, quality improvements or managing supply chain issues
Work under the guidance of operational leaders and industry experts to:
Learn and apply foundational concepts and processes in manufacturing, quality and supply chain, and understand their interdependencies
Collect and analyze production data to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Recommend innovative solutions to optimize processes and / or enhance products
Troubleshoot and solution day to day challenges as they arise on the shop floor

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Management, or a related field
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data
Excellent problem-solving abilities to solve problems with a proactive and innovative approach
Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Communication and collaboration skills to work stakeholders at various levels
Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
